Chapter History

Conceived in the fall of 2011 and officially installed on February 19th 2012, the Iota Rho Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta has continued its growth and has become a well established organization at DePaul University. The chapter has been recognized by both the university and national organization in various ways, including winning the DePaul Sorority of the Year award in 2014 and various awards at the 50th and 51st National Conventions for Alpha Xi Delta. Additionally, individual members have been recognized for their achievements including Grace Bova winning Chapter President of the Year in 2015 and Lilly Hart winning Sorority Woman of the Year in 2015. During the 2019 school year member Isabel Day won Panhellenic Council Leader of the Year, and Isabel Bakros won Outstanding Senior. With a chapter full of women continually striving to realize their potential, sisters envision the continued success of the chapter within the coming years.
