Letter From Membership Vice President
To Our Potential sisters,
College is such an exciting time in our lives for all of us. It be the stepping stone into the real world. It can also be a time of uncertainty- where we might be confused of where to go next and what steps to take. I certainly felt this way when going into college, but joining a sorority was one of the best decisions I could have ever made.
Through Alpha Xi Delta, I have found so much confidence in myself that I never knew was there before. This chapter has taught me to realize my potential within the DePaul community, and out into the real world. I have grown so much as a person, and have learned so much of what I am capable of, just by being a fellow member of this chapter. I have found sisters here in Iota Rho that I can go through college, and life with. I know that I have found friends for life within this chapter.
We hope that you all find these feelings when you go through formal recruitment, and that you eventually find your home with us in Alpha Xi Delta. Iota Rho’s goal is for every sister to find her home away from home in this chapter- one where she can learn, grow, share and lead to make this chapter an even better one.
Even if formal recruitment may seem like a huge uncertainty for you, I urge you to take the leap! Trust your instincts throughout the process, and you will find where you belong. We hope that you all find your home away from home here at DePaul.
Alpha Xi Delta wishes you the best of luck with recruitment!
